Everyone came to this world in God's will. Everyone was born through His power. And so everyone should be recognized as His child. Through baptism, we do not only become a part of the Christian world, but we become the child of the Almighty.

December 8, 2011, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an important date for  the Ayagan family. On this day, two of their darling children were baptized and welcomed to the Christian world. The RE Outreach of the University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos, with the cooperation of the REEDBL2CO class of A17, made this event possible.

The Basic Support-System
A mother, a father, and siblings.
A typical family, and a happy one.
The Ayagan family together as one on this unforgettable day.

Their Refuge and Shelter
A house is not a house until you can call it a home.
This is the Ayagan family's humble abode.
It may look like disaster, but for them this is what
they consider as their palace, as their home.

The Grand Entrance
   Happiness fill their faces.
Excitement fill their hearts.
After minutes of travel by wheel from their home,
the Ayagan family arrives in the university with excitement
of the coming event...the baptism of their beloved children.

The Beautiful Lil' Ones

Children are the most amazing creatures.
They do not only complete a family, but they give hope
that the future generation would be a better one.
These two young ones, Michael and April Rose,
are the two beautiful creations to be welcomed in the world of Christians.

In God's Holy Presence
The Holy Mass, the greatest prayer one could offer.
And the greatest way to welcome the little ones to the Christian community.
This is the first mass of the to-be-baptized kids as children of the Almighty.

Michael's Happiness
A beautiful smile from a lovely creation.
A heartwarming smile from his mother shows how happy she is for her son.
Michael Ayagan, together with his sister, April Rose,
are now part of the Christian community.

The Few Very Special People

This special, once-in-a-lifetime episode of Michael's and April's life
would not be complete without these important people.
They made this happening possible.
They will forever be treasured by the Ayagan family.

First Meal As A Christian
Michael, now a part of the Christian community,
is enjoying his first meal as a baptized child of God.
Michael, you are His son now and I assure you that
He will provide you with meals not only for you,
but also for your loving family.

Our Early Christmas Presents

    Gifts.
A simple offering we can hand to this family.
They may be small.
They may not be enough,
but these gifts are sincerely from our hearts.
We give them to these family we already learned to love.

Hopefully Not Our Last Farewell

A long day has passed. An amazing event happened.
It's time to bid our temporary goodbyes.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wish them a happy life
and a bright future to Michael and April Rose.
We hope they won't forget us and the little time we shared with them.

To Michael and April, we hope to meet you soon as fine-grown individuals.
To Mr. & Mrs. Ayagan, take care of Michael and April,
stay strong for them and try to give them the happiness they deserve.
To the Ayagan family, may you continue to stay strong and live happy.
We will miss you. God bless you, forever. We love you.

This was such an amazing event,
though it lasted for a short period of time.
But we will forever keep these in our hearts.
We will always remember that for once in our life, we have helped someone.
We will always consider this as one of the happiest moments of our lives.
